Oak Creek Wedding Location
Native American Same Sex Wedding Ceremony
Carla Reidel performed her Native American wedding ceremony for this same sex couple, who had finally decided to tie the knot after years of being together. They chose the Oak Creek wedding location on the south side of creek, accessible via the Village of Oak Creek which allows day use parking permits. Carla created the medicine-wheel circle with cornmeal as her husband, Rick, drummed, and then she called in the four directions to prepare for the native wedding ceremony. Elopement at Oak Creek Wedding Location

Oak Creek is accessible from West Sedona, and also from the Village of Oak Creek. On the south side, a short dirt road and a parking area leads to the creek and a spectacular view of Cathedral rock, which was perfect for Angela and Travis’s Sedona elopement wedding. After the ceremony the newlyweds explored the waters of Oak Creek and played near the “steps.” Another beautiful summer wedding in Sedona at the Oak Creek wedding location! The waters of Oak Creek are gorgeous in all seasons. The image above is a winter wedding when the deciduous trees lose their leaves.
