Red Rock Crossing Wedding Location
For a group of 15 or less, this Sedona wedding location requires a reservation and $100 fee because it is a very popular wedding spot controlled by the Forest Service–they only allow one wedding there every two hours. We can make your reservation for you.
For a group of 15 – 50, you may rent a private area and have your ceremony at any of the gorgeous meadows with red rocks in the background. This is an all-day rental for $160 and comes with 10 parking spaces. It offers picnic tables that you may decorate for cake-cutting and a champagne toast. You may even bring dinner to barbecue–this is a casual, affordable place to get married with family and friends.
Red Rock Crossing has both the waters of Oak Creek and the majestic Cathedral Rock in the background. In the summer months, you will not have as much privacy for your ceremony, especially on a weekend. Saturdays from June-September can be loud, hot, and crowded… We have a few places in the Park where we perform wedding ceremonies that get away from crowds, and afterwards our photographer will take you to the more popular spots for romantic photos.
Red Rock Crossing
Sedona Elopement Weddings helped this out-of-state couple plan their elopement. The day was overcast, but still the Sonoran desert scenery was amazing with all the brilliant colors of the reds and greens. The red rocks reflected in the water makes a gorgeous shot! Cathedral Rock is always spectacular in any season; summer, winter, spring and fall weddings can be counted on to be gorgeous and memorable!

Amy and Mark chose a glorious day of dramatic skies for their Sedona Elopement. Since it was a simple elopement with just the two of them, they asked Leslie McCandless of Sedona Elopement Weddings to capture the wedding photography for all for their friends and family back home. Their ceremony included the Apache Prayer, “Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other.” After the serious stuff, the happy couple splashed in the creek, where icy cold spring water of Oak Creek flows merrily below the awesome views of Cathedral Rock, one of the most popular photography sites in the Southwest. Sedona Elopement Weddings wedding photography captures sunny days, rainy days, windy days, warm days and chilly days…the variety of the seasons of Sedona are always spectacular!

Christy and Terry (above) chose this wedding location for their Sedona elopement wedding ceremony so they could play in the red rocks after they completed their vows. Christy dipped her toes in the waters of Oak Creek, while Terry held her back from going for a swim! Leslie McCandless of Sedona Elopement Weddings captured their wedding photography.
Cathedral Rock is the back-drop for this ceremony site. There are fantastic views of it as the waters of Oak Creek flow by. It’s perfect for an elopement wedding with just the two of you and the two witnesses (as required by AZ law), one of which can be your photographer.
Rainy Day at Red Rock Crossing Wedding Location
The skies threatened to drench the wedding party, but it held off for the short marriage ceremony and pictures afterwards. Shawn and Belinda brought their best friends to witness their Sedona elopement wedding at the “steps” wedding location on the north side of the waters of Oak Creek. The glorious view of the auspicious Cathedral Rock was visible even on this wet, overcast day. Officiated by Leslie McCandless and photographed by Joe Robinson of Sedona Elopement Weddings.
The SEASONS of Sedona can be seen below at this winter elopement. The deciduous trees lose their leaves from December thru April… and in summer, this area can be crowded.
